We are promoting multimodal transportation options from Tauranga to Bayfair to Papamoa East to Te Puke.
The future transportation solution is multimodal, some will drive, some will bus, some will bike, scooter and some will walk. You will pick which is best for you. The future is here NOW!
In Tauranga these options are not available for everyone and there are no safe express cycleways from Papamoa to anywhere. Papamoa is flat and suitable for express cycleways, especially with the growing numbers of e-bikes.
One proposal is for a network of express cycleways, mostly it uses land which is readily available and travels in the most direct route.
Another is to install bus lanes on the B2B to Hewletts Rd to speed up bus travel and avoid Links Ave delays.
